Gang Information
Most members of gangs come from low income single parent homes with minimal to no supervision. This in part is due to the need for parents to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. To fill family void, many youths easily fall victim to gang life and culture. For those gang members seeking a way out, JT Locke Resource Center will provide a safe haven for them to reclaim their lives.
Youth get to know RPD officers
The JT Locke Resource Center provides constructive alternatives to gangs, giving the youth an opportunity to achieve their full potential as young adults and become successful and productive citizens. The Center will teach the ex-gang member respect, hard work, honesty, support, encouragement, love, forgiveness, and appreciation for life. To help parents reclaim their children, we encourage them to access the skills and tools offered at the Center to become better parents and assist them in their struggle to overcome being the sole provider through our EMERGE Program.
The staff of the Resource Center will be in the community, at school, and in everyday life, watching and teaching and nurturing, encouraging and pushing with love but sternness.

They are your creation, we are here to help, love and support, until they are back on track, and you continue on the pattern with your new found knowledge, understanding and parenting skills. We do not propose a new way, but a return to the basics.
